Project:  Warehouse for First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun

Location: Mayo, Yukon

Scope of Work: Klondike Welding Ltd. provided structural engineering design services for this approximately 3,600 square foot single-storey building located in Mayo, Yukon. The building utilizes a conventionally framed structural steel system supported on concrete footings with a slab-on-grade main floor.

The project also includes a wood-framed mezzanine of approximately 1,260 square feet, integrated within the steel structural system. The exterior building envelope was designed using Insulated Metal Panels (IMPs) to provide a durable and energy-efficient wall system suitable for northern climates.

Klondike Welding Ltd. acted as the Engineer of Record for the project.

Project:  Wax Room Relocation – Mount McIntyre Recreation Centre

Location: Whitehorse, Yukon

Scope of Work: Klondike Welding Ltd. was responsible for the safe relocation of the Wax Room building at Mount McIntyre to allow for upcoming renovations. In addition to executing the move, Klondike designed and engineered the full lifting plan, including a custom spreader bar and lifting skid tailored to the structure’s geometry and weight.

Project: Public Safety Alliance of Canada / Yukon Employee Union Building

Location: Whitehorse, Yukon

Scope of Work: Klondike provided structural engineering design services for this 12,800 square foot single storey building located in Whitehorse. The building utilized conventionally framed steel structure supported on concrete footings with slab-on-grade main floor. Klondike Welding Ltd acted as Engineer of Record for the project.
